Previous Page

Step Four - Unscrew the two bolts securing the calliper to the support bracket. These bolts can be seen from inside the wheel arch.

Step Five - Remove the calliper from its mounting position and carefully place it on top of the disc. Be sure not to place any strain on the brake line while doing this. The old brake pads and shims are not clearly visiblel.

Step Six - Remove the thin metal shims from the outside of the pads, making careful note of the side and position of the shims.

Step Seven - Lever the old pads out and away from the discs using a small blade screw drive. Discard the old pads. The pad holder is now empty and ready for the new pads.
