N14 Front Bar Removal

This page explains how I removed the front bar from my Pulsar. This front bar is Jap-Spec and was only available on the Japanese built N14 Pulsars 93-95. The Australian built Pulsars may have an identical setup, as might the N15 and N16 model Pulsars. Tools used to remove the front bar and mesh the grill include "adjustable spanner, phillips head screwdriver, cordless drill, flat head screwdriver, angle grinder with diamond cutter blade, etc)

First. Jack your car up to make removal of screws/bolts a more simple task.

Remove the fog lights from the front bar (this is required to remove a couple of screws/plugs behind the lights that hold in the splash guards in the wheel arches)

There is a "stay bar" on each side of the front bar just in front of each wheel in the wheel arches. This bar keeps the front bar steady/stable so as to not flex or break easy upon some kind of impact. Remove this with a phillips head screwdriver or spanner.

More procedure to follow when I cut the grill out and mesh it in.
